Course Introduction:
There are a growing number of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools for project management, many of which can be helpful for managing engineering projects. AI can provide several benefits to a project, including efficiency and risk reduction. AI software utilizes AI algorithms which can learn by looking at past data, create new logic/rules, to apply these to unique project situations. AI tools for project management and engineering are mostly based on GenAI.
This course introduces AI tools for project management of engineering design projects. Tools covered include virtual PM assistant, document preparation, predictive analytics, risk assessment, scheduling, meeting tools, automated task management, project audits, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
