Certificates, Recordkeeping and Reporting

Currently we send reports several times a day. At a minimum, we report PDH hours each evening to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation even in our off season. So your PDH hours should post to your account by afternoon of the next business day. If they do not please contact us at mail@pdhlibrary.com. Please note that to avoid a late fee with the board you can pay your renewal fee now and wait for your PDH hours to post to your account.

No, Florida only requires that you attest that you have completed the necessary continuing education course work before your renew your license. You should keep records in the event that you are audited. Since the reporting system for Florida is still in place PDHLIbrary.com will continue to report your PDH hours to the state. If you are audited they will first review the Florida Department of Business and Professional regulations website to see if your hours have been reported. If they have been reported your audit will be over. Approximately one to two days after we report, your continuing education credits will appear under your account at myfloridalicense.com.

As an approved sponsor, PDHLibrary.com is required to maintain your course activity records for a specific period of time in the States of Florida and North Carolina. However, you are ultimately responsible for tracking and maintaining all your course activity records for the remaining states. To aid you in record keeping, PDHLibrary.com saves your certificates for your convenience under the "Courses Taken" tab in the "My Account"  area.

In addition, it is the policy of PDHLibrary.com.com to maintain your records for a 10-year period which exceeds the requirements of any State Licensing Board.

PDHLibrary.com will use your personal information internally as follows:

  • to generate and submit your “Certificate of Completion” online each time you pass a course quiz.
  • to provide your state engineering licensing board with pertinent information (as required by certain states).
  • to notify you periodically of new courses or specific course discounts being offered (optional).

As a proof of completing your course, PDHLibrary.com will provide you with a “Certificate of Completion”.

This certificate is available at any time simply by clicking "My Account - Courses Taken".

Your browser is probably set to NOT print background images. Simply click "file", then click on "page setup". Then check the box for "print background images". Your certificate should now print the signature correctly.

If your browser cannot print background images there are two other ways to capture the signature correctly. If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 the easiest way is to use the "Windows Snipping Tool" located in the accessories program folder. Simply click and drag a window around the certificate and a cropped screen shot will be captured. Then click, "save as" and you'll have a fully printable certificate saved as a photo.

The second method is to

1) Open up a photo editing program such as Windows Paint.
2) On your screen position the certificate so that you can see it all on your screen.
3) Press the "Prt Sc" or "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
4) Open the window for the photo editing program you are using and paste the screen shot.
5) Crop the certificate image from the larger picture you captured. If using window paint this requires you to click on crop, then click and drag the cropping box around your certificate, and then click on crop a second time.
6) Save the file to your computer. You can print anytime.
